Ron Lytle's holiday musical THE MAN WHO SAVED CHRISTMAS

debuted in 2006 and was proclaimed an "instant holiday classic" by audiences and the press. It was released for national productions for the 2009 season and has been produced throughout the United States since.

2014 will see the release of the long-awaited Cast Album.

Previously, his award-winning, smash hit OH MY GODMOTHER!

won him critical raves when it opened in 2005, and has gone on to set box office records wherever it has played ever since.  The Original San Francisco Cast Album was released in 2008.

Ron began his career in music and theatre as a singer and dancer in summer stock.  He subsequently performed leading roles in musical comedies at theatres throughout the nation, and in productions for The Walt Disney Company and National Public Radio.  He has performed onstage alongside many celebrities including Debbie Reynolds, James Earle Jones, Lea DeLaria, Nancy Dussault and JoAnne Worley.

While working as an entertainer in Las Vegas, he founded the children's theatre company The Palace Players, writing and producing seven original musicals in a three year period for the Excalibur Hotel and Casino (the most successful of which played well over a thousand performances).  Also during this time, his writing on film musicals appeared in the internationally published periodical Hollywood Studio Magazine.

He has written countless songs and books for the children’s market including the storybook adaptation of the film version of Dr. Suess' THE CAT IN THE HAT, an original story based on THE BATMAN animated television series, and many other originals. He recently contributed several songs to the BACK TO THE FUTURE video game franchise, which stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reprising their original roles from the iconic film series.  He also writes and composes for a variety of online media.

He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and performs with several theatre companies there.  Since 2005, he has been the resident playwright for the East Bay Children's Theatre company (established 1933), creating one new musical per season for them.  He has over a dozen titles available for licensing through his website.

His last name rhymes with "TITLE"!
